The Masonry Contractors Association of Central Pennsylvania (MCACP) along with BAC Local 5 and Local Signatory Contractors developed and implemented a new organizing tool for the members of local 5 that seems to be taking off. With the construction projects within local 5’s jurisdiction at an all-time high, so is the need for skilled craftworkers and Apprentice candidates. George Hardy, Director of the Masonry Contractors Association of Central Pennsylvania (MCACP) is sending $100 -$500 visa gift cards monthly to members across the Local for participation in the Bounty Program.
Currently members can receive up to $1000 per recruit. President Smith said, “it’s a win, win for everyone! By incentivizing the program, the members are rewarded for being involved in the recruitment process with the goal of being able to mentor these new members along the way!”
